At Her Pride, we believe true development goes beyond resources — it's about empowering individuals with the freedom to shape their own futures. Human development is the process of expanding opportunities, enhancing well-being, and equipping people with the capabilities to lead meaningful lives.

Capabilities define what individuals can do and who they can become. They include the ability to make choices, have a voice in decisions that affect them, live free from violence, and experience dignity, respect, and fulfilment.

Founded in 2018, Her Pride is a registered non-profit organisation dedicated to the holistic development of girls from underprivileged backgrounds. We create transformative platforms that foster self-actualization, enhance skills and competencies, and equip our beneficiaries to live with purpose — empowering them to impact their communities and the world positively.

Message From Our Founding Director

Hello Everyone!

Life is an amalgamation of various elements that make up who you are and how you show up. Releasing the gap in our education system that doesn't entirely cater to the realities of a girl child is the main reason why I saw it purposeful to fill it.

Her Pride is on a mission to break down the barriers that prevent girls from reaching their full potential — barriers like limited access to menstrual health resources, mental health support, and career development opportunities.

I believe every girl, no matter her background, deserves the chance to thrive, lead, and live with dignity. By equipping girls with the skills, support, and confidence they need, we're not just transforming individual lives — we're shaping future leaders and stronger communities.

Limited access to menstrual health resources keeps girls out of school and strips them of dignity.
